Cet atelier vous initiera à deux des trois styles de base du Voguing : Old Way et Vogue Femme.

Old Way, c'est le style original du Voguing : héritier du Popping et du Breakdance, il s'inspire des poses des magazines de mode (le mot Voguing faisant référence au magazine Vogue). Ce style fut popularisé par le clip de la chanson de Madonna...Vogue, évidemment !

Quant à Vogue Femme (ou Fem), il émerge durant les 90's. Style ouvertement féminin, il peut être interprété de façon "soft" ou "dramatic".

Après une brève histoire du Voguing, vous vous initierez aux techniques de base de ces deux styles. Et terminerez en beauté sur un moment Ballroom, en engageant avec les autres participant·e·s une véritable Battle !

This workshop will introduce you to two of the three basic styles of Voguing: Old Way and Vogue Fem.
Old Way is the original style of Voguing: heir to Popping and Breakdance, it is inspired by the poses of fashion magazines (the word Voguing refers to Voguemagazine). This style was popularized by the video clip of Madonna's song...Vogue, of course!
As for Vogue Fem, it emerged during the 90's. Openly feminine in style, it can be interpreted in a "soft" or "dramatic" way.
After a brief history of Voguing, you will learn the basic techniques of these two styles. And finish off with a beautiful Ballroom moment, engaging with the other participants and throw down in a battle!

Né en Australie, Patric Kuo a toujours voulu divertir et a acquis une gamme de compétences diverses, grâce à sa formation de danseur de jazz et à son amour du Streetdance, notamment le Voguing et le Breakdance. Il a travaillé avec des artistes tels que Psy, Robbie Williams, Rita Ora et Beyonce. Il a fait partie du top 10 de So You Think You Can Dance Australia et s'est produit à l'Opéra de Sydney. Il a tenu le premier rôle dans Jean Paul Gaultier Fashion Freak Show et se produit chaque week-end au Manko Cabaret. Depuis son déménagement à Paris en 2016, Patric Kuo pratique le Voguing, entre autre, avec l'Iconic House of Ninja.
Australian-born Patric Kuo has always wanted to entertain and has collected an extensive arsenal of skills through his training in theater jazz dance and his love of street styles including Voguing and Breakdancing. He has worked with such artists as Psy, Robbie Williams, Rita Ora, and Beyonce. He made the top 10 of So You Think You Can Dance Australia and performed at the Sydney Opera House. He was the lead in the Jean Paul Gaultier Fashion Freak Show and now performs at Manko Cabaret. Since moving to Paris is 2016, Kuo has been Voguing with the Iconic House of Ninja, amongst other projects.
